Sometime during the night I woke with my backside feeling cold, even though I was wrapped up in Honon’s arms. “The fire is going out,” he said. I got up to put more logs on the fire and he cut the straps from his wrists and ankles.

Will he walk out again?

He came to stand next to me and put his arms around me, kissing the back of my neck. “Dani, what am I going to do about you?”

I walked over to the food. I didn’t know how to answer him, so I ignored his question. “Are you hungry?”

He came over by me and started lifting lids, looking at everything. “I think I like what’s over there better. I like honey.” He walked over and dipped his finger in the pot. Stalking back over to me, he rubbed his finger on my lips. He slowly licked my lips clean, sucking and nipping. By the time he stopped, I was clinging to him and breathing hard. He chuckled, “Not yet my cujcuje…ha’ni…my sweet tasting honey. You have to wait now.” He smiled and turned to walk around the room. My eyes rapidly scanned his body, his naked body. God, he’s gorgeous…perfect. He bent down to pick up my bra. “You don’t have to wear this all the time, do you?”

I shook my head, “No, not at night.”

After tossing my bra back on the floor, he walked over to the fire, stoked it, and swirled the water with his hand. He came back around me and ran his finger down my spine. I felt goose bumps rise on my skin. “Honon…”

“Shh.” He picked me up and carried me to the bed, laying me down where our feet had been before. He began kissing me and touching me all over, and made me delirious with wanting more.

“Make love to me, Honon, now, please.”

He just kept kissing me. His hands slid over my arms, bringing them up over my head, and entwined our fingers. I felt his muscles, his hard legs spread mine. Then he put both my hands in one of his, his other hand slid down my body and slowly back again. He teased me repeatedly, starting to enter and pulling away again. I tried to touch him, but his hands were around my hands and wrists. The next thing I knew, my hands were tied to the stake.

“What…how’d you…why...Honon, no,” I shook my head in shock, trying not to cry. He’s going to leave me again. I looked down his body and sighed with relief. No…he isn’t going anytime soon.

He leaned down and kissed me. “Trust me, cujcuje. You want me to trust you, yet you don’t trust me? Now that doesn’t sound fair, does it?” He got up, walked over to the shelf and grabbed a cloth, the soap, and a towel. Turning around, he walked to the fire and threw the cloth and soap in the water; he grabbed the pot and brought it all over to me. “I thought I would take care of you just like you cared for me,” he grinned.
